Vios musical journey began as a 6-year old boy. He started to take weekly private lessons on classical violin.
His first ever gig was as a 9-year-old when he played the opening for a local bank office.
Shortly thereafter he won his first local violin youth competition and his first orchestra experience came as a 14-year-old when he got invited to play in an orchestra where they put all the local competition winners together to form a NRW State Youth Orchestra.
In 2007 Vio moved to Düsseldorf to study classical violin at the Robert-Schumann-conservatorium and he has lived there eversince.
It happens in 2014 during a visit on the party island ibiza. This was when he fell in love with deep house music and got introduced to the dj world.
They attached a microphone onto his orchestra violin and made him play freestyle to the dj and his beats. The audience loved it and he recalls that very moment as the big turn around of his music career.
What followed was a course in audio engineering, the purchase of an electric violin and hours of non-stop practicing and specialized training to figure out how to make the violin sound and the dj beats work together.
Today he djs well known places in Düsseldorf and all over germany, spain and europe in general. Touring and having lots of gigs are his big passion now as well as producing his own sounds and beats.
Mit dem klassischen Geigen-Instrumentalunterricht beginnt die musikalische Reise des 6-jährigen Vio in Herne im Ruhrgebiet.
Mit 9 Jahren steht er zum ersten Mal vor Publikum: Eine Sparkassenfiliae-Eröffnung mit Bürgermeister im Publikum.
Kurz darauf gewinnt er zum ersten Mal den Jugend-Musiziert Wettbewerb und mit 14 Jahren sitzt er zum ersten Mal in einem Orchester: Das Landesjugendorchester NRW.
2007 kommt er zum Geigenstudium nach Düsseldorf an die Robert-Schumann-Hochschule und nennt die Landeshauptstadt seither seine Wahl-Heimat.
2014 dann entdeckt der ausgebildete Geiger ein ganz neues Genre für sich: House Music. Insbesondere Deep House hat es ihm angetan.
Während eines Ibiza-Aufenthalts 2014 spielt Vio mit seiner Orchester/Akustik-Geige ‘freestyle’ bzw ‘frei-improvisiert’ zu den Beats befreundeter DJs und ist begeistert von der Kombination der Klänge.
Seine Musikalische Welt stellt sich komplett auf den Kopf.
Statt Mozart und Beethoven faszinieren Ihn nun elektronische Klänge.
Er lässt sich eine E-Geige anfertigen, fängt an eigenen Beats zu produzieren und lernt das Auflegen im Ibiza - Stil.
Heute ist er DJ, Produzent und Live-Act und präsentiert DJ Sets von House, über Progressive bis hin zu Rave.
